STXpress
Enhanced Trunking protocol which
offers highly encrypted anti-hackers privacy, faster channel
acquisition, SMS services and AVL solutions for fleet management.
ST-858x
The ST-858 SmarTrunk Xpress Trunking
Controller, is the evolution of Trunking Systems. SmarTrunk Systems
Engineering Department has developed a new hardware design based on
the latest communications technology.
The ST-858 SmarTrunk Xpress Trunking
Controller improves the channel management efficiency, reducing
critically the channel acquisition time, delivering faster
communications, data transceiving, telephone and radio alphanumeric
caller ID, Advanced Text Messaging, Advanced Status Messaging,
in-site Telemetry, In-site firmware programming, remote parameters
programming, over the air logic boards' parameter programming, among
other features.
Advanced Features
- SmarTrunk II backwards
Compatible.
- Xpress protocol embedded.
- Parking channel based for
SmarTrunk Xpress operation.
- Rough and reliable.
- Interoperability with other
conventional systems support.
- Basic firmware for billing
purposes in conventional systems.
- 1 Telephone line per controller.
- 4 configurable I/O ports
(digital input/output or analog output) for telemetry
applications.
- Expansion port for custom
applications.
- Same repeater interface
connections as older controllers.

- Data transferring capabilities.
- AVL support ready.
- Advanced data base to mobile
text messaging service.
- Advanced mobile to mobile/s
status messaging service.
- Undelivered text and status
messages storage.
- Data transfer capabilities.
- Wide Area Network support for
ST-310/510 switches.
- Larger users database (up to
65,000).
- Larger quantity of repeat
channels per site (unlimited).
- Multi-controllers cabinet (1,2
or 4 controllers per cabinet).
